Job Description - Interest Rates Strategy : - The candidate will be a part of US Interest Rates Strategy team - The team works closely with top-rated analysts of a leading US-based investment bank and provides market-leading coverage on US Government bonds and derivatives thereof - The candidate will be required to help the team in tracking and analyzing the rates market - The candidate will have to work on multiple projects, client requests, and thematic reports - Typical projects may include tracking spreads and pricing, putting together the infrastructure for capturing crucial data points, writing sections of research periodicals while creating/updating charts and tables, ideating investment strategies or identifying themes supportive of/contributing to team's investment thesis Skill Set : - Strong academic record, quantitative skills, and understanding of financial markets - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in Advanced Excel, VBA and any programming language will be preferred - Experience in dealing with large data sets will be preferred - Detail oriented, with a low tolerance for error - Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines - Strong team player and flexible about working hours - CFA certification will be an added advantage Education and Experience : - B.Tech from any Indian Institute of Technology or any other reputed engineering college - MBA from any top-tier college - 1-4 years of experience in working in projects related to fixed income markets especially rates products
