Evalueserve - Analyst/Senior Analyst - Investment Banking

Job Description

Senior Business Analyst will join the investment banking team at Evalueserve, supporting bankers in several critical research areas such as follows:

- Working on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening, newsletter preparation.

- Prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers' outlook, share price performance, evolution of industry/peers valuation multiples, possible buyer/seller opportunities.

- Responsibilities includes training and guiding junior and new analysts, maintaining efficiency, working independently on complex projects, delivering error free projects and client communications.

- Allocating projects to team members depending on their industry expertise and skills, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on client deliverables.

- Creating and maintaining databases.

- Conduct on-the-job and off-the-job training sessions of new joiners and team members.

Skills :

- Strong Accounting and financial skills

- Good MS Office Skills.

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner.

- Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills.

- Knowledge of database tools - Factset, Thomsonone, Capital IQ, Factiva, and bloomberg.

- Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm's goals & mission.

- Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working.

Education & Experience

- Postgraduate (PGDM / MBA)

- 3 -5 years of relevant experience
