ETP - Senior Manager/Head - Quality Assurance

Job Description

Team Management (Supervisor and Technical Guidance) :

- Drives ETP's overall mission to deliver First time right Quality Software and Services to customers

- Directly manages the QA and QC Team

- Responsible for hiring, training and driving performance from team members as well as cross functional stakeholders

Process Management :

- Works closely with Projects team, Customer Support, R&D team and users to execute an action plan to improve software quality.

- Maintains quality consistency throughout the SDLC

- Tracks critical bottlenecks to first time right quality

- Build Quality Metrics for all departments and own SQA Audits

Quality Management :

- Establish and maintain a quality policy for all ETP products and services

- Ensures the functionality and effectiveness of essential tools required for testing

- Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.

- Establish policy for end user experience on all applications.

- Create performance benchmark for customer facing applications.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.

- 18-20 years of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 7+ years in a lead role or management position.

- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.

- Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.

- Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.

- Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, Agile) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.

- Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.

- Should have Quality Certification in ISO and Six Sigma

- Should have driven the SQA initiative

- Should have elevated organizations to CMMI level 3 or above

- Familiarity with one or more scripting/programming languages and/or tools such as: Java, J2EE, MSSQL, My SQL, AI is a big plus
