KEY ROLE:
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive the business of Facility & Operations whose core role will be business development.
Role Summary:
- The role requires the candidate to be able to drive revenue and growth for the company's primary business line.
- The candidate will need to closely work with the General Manager in mapping and planning the revenue and goals for the business unit. Needs to be strategic and a long term thinker, to plan the business trajectory.
Business Development:
- Generate lead through sources such as: Online Tendering Sites, References, Industrial Research, Liasoning & Cold Calls.
- Conduct research and provide all the necessary information to concerning authorities in order to act promptly on leads generated through sources.
- Identify the financial viability of prospective opportunity as well as operational stability.
- Define the business proposals for clients and ensure that it gets submitted within the stipulated timelines and with all the required documents.
- Should be a team player / comfortable with matrix reporting structure / excellent in stakeholder management.
- Analyze business potential, conceptualize & execute strategies to drive sales, augment turnover and achieve desired targets.
- Develop and implement relationship strategies to maximize our chances of profitably, securing strategically important new business.
- Identify niche markets and new / future services that could provide the Company with a competitive advantage or improved profitability.
- Build excellent relationships for FM business and find solutions to customers' business and service delivery needs.
- Prepare business plan, incorporating vision, mission, SWOT etc.
- Win new business through developing clients' relationships centered on solutions that deliver business excellence to both clients and contractors.
- Developing and Setting up policies, procedures, and sales and marketing strategies related to FM.
MUST HAVE'S:
- Ability to problem-solve and assess the situation to provide strategies and evaluate options.
- Exposure to Facilities Management practices & solutions.
- MBA (FT) from a good institute with 8-10 years of experience - in facility management business development / key account management in real estate / FM industry.
- Outstanding administrative, verbal and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented approach with a capability to form relationships at numerous levels (internally and externally).
- Ability to scale business, track and improve metrics month on month.
- Experience in sales, category management, demand generation, operations.
- Go-getter with lateral and product first thinking abilities for identifying and plugging gaps.
- Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial drive to excel.
- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
- Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
