Essex - Associate Manager - Solution Development

Over-all experience :

- A minimum of 5 year of work experience at leading analytics and business intelligence companies

- Extensive experience in data handling, data visualization, analyses and business intelligence/insights

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Analytics Delivery Solution Development group to develop & deploy innovative Analytical & Visibility solutions to clients across industries like Banking, Insurance etc.

- This position requires working in a high paced agile environment in a R&D environment

- Understand the key Solution requirements from the Solution Owners and own the deployment and delivery of the Solution across different clients

- Play active role in structuring and establishing the problem statement and actively supervise and mentor the team members throughout the project journey

- Identify key issues in each stage of the project and place the right leadership in providing solutions

- Ability to work under tight timelines and handle pressure

- Act as a subject matter expert on analytical technologies like SAS/SQL/R/Python/Alteryx/RapidMiner etc.

Key Skills :

- Strong working knowledge of data processing tools like SAS/R/Python/Alteryx/RapidMiner etc.

- Strong working knowledge of any of the BI tools like QlikView, Tableau, Power BI

- Proficient with MS Excel

- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills

- Ability to work with large volumes of data

- Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English

- Good project management skills with an ability to make quick decisions in fast paced situations

- Great attention to details; pro-active; dedicated; great sense of responsibility with excellent coordination skills and adapting to changes quickly

- Mentor & manage junior team members

- Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (such as Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, MAPR, etc.) would be preferred
