Position ERP Consultant Location Dubai Job Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage ERP implementation in budgeted time lines and cost. - Ensure that all ERP related business risks are understood and mitigated. - Prepare project plan and coordinates with all Stakeholders to ensure go live date is adhered to. - Utilise best practices and methodologies to design and implement Microsoft AX in the group. - Complete project documentation such as : Functional requirement document, Functional customization specifications, User acceptance test scripts and End user training documentation. - Perform gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed. - Lead all tasks related to feature testing, solution testing and user acceptance testing - Perform end user training and provide application support for all users/departments across the group. - Works with management to keep the ERP project on schedule and recommend needed action to meet deadlines. - Train and mentor department level coordinators/champions for smooth ERP implementation. - Map and study all business processes and ensure business best practices/processes are followed - Have seamless liaison and coordination with ERP implementation partner to ensure on time delivery. Desired Profile: 1. Qualification, Knowledge, Experience a) Academic Qualification a. Professional IT background with relevant Professional degree in IT (B.tech or MCA). b) Professional Qualification a. Cisco or Microsoft certifications (MCSE or CCIE) would be desirable. b. Experience of successfully implementing/supporting ERP systems (Microsoft AX/ SAP / Oracle platforms). c) Experience (minimum preferred) - 10 to 12 years- experience in a corporate environment with at least two years independently managing the IT function ideally in a Medium size company. Successful ERP implementation experience in a manufacturing/trading company/group company. 2. Technical Requirements - Good technical knowledge (networks, operating systems, databases, hardware, email, firewalls etc.) - Proven IT Project management skills - Proven deployment experience with Dynamics AX modules - Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX based ERP and SharePoint based setup would be preferred. - Good and up to date technical knowledge of the latest trends in IT industry.
