Equity Trading Role - Discretionary Trading Desk - BFSI - CA/IIM

Looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Equity Trading - Discretionary Trading Desk.

JD:-

The candidate will be part of a trading team and be responsible for

- Generating and analyzing ideas to be used in discretionary equity trading

- Managing trading positions

Key Responsibilities :

- Candidate will be responsible for leading trading teams and grooming new traders eventually

- Tracking news related to companies/economy and identifying potential trades

- Tracking and maintaining a database of regularly released data (company results, monthly auto sales etc) to generate trade ideas

- Liaising with sell-side analysts to gain indepth knowledge of companies/sectors

- Assisting senior traders with trade analysis and trade management

- Full responsibility for a trading book eventually

Job Requirements :

Qualifications MBA - IIM or other premier institutes OR CA with some capital markets experience

Experience Relevant work experience of 0-2 years

Functional Competencies:

- Basic knowledge of derivatives, fundamental and technical analysis
