Equity Research Role - Institutional Market/International Market - BFSI

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group based out of Hyderabad.

The group works closely with the front office to provide high quality and in-depth support to the investment research team and the decision based processes of the Firm's global proprietary trading strategies. The role involves working closely with the LOSH-Industrial or Multiple sector equity research team.

The ideal candidate should have an MBA in Finance or comparable qualification with 5-14 years of strong domain experience in the equity research across any domain tracking any geography( Indian markets as well as international markets (US and Europe). Skill sets in financial modelling, valuation, fundamental equity research and analysis are requisites along with excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- supporting detailed modelling of company financials.

- complete valuation of operational, peer group and sensitivity analysis.

- developing and maintaining financial models.

- research coverage for specific companies and sectors.

- frequently contacting the front office to iterate financial models and investment thesis.

- attending management / intermediary / sector expert calls and developing industry sector expertise.

- aiding the front office data analysis efforts by collaborating closely with the technology development teams in the firm.

One would be at par with portfolio manager with regards to decision making and salary not a constraint for quality candidate.
