Equity Analyst

We are looking for an Equity Research Manager/Portfolio Manager - Equities who should be able to do deep-dive Fundamental research on any given company/Sector/sub-sectors (preferably in the Indian Market). Make a presentation and brainstorm investment ideas with the investment team in order to make a group decision on whether or not to invest in a specific idea.

- Able to undertake deep-dive fundamental research, financial modelling, valuation matrix and conduct due diligence on companies and industries to generate value-added investment ideas.

- Keep a track of the portfolio company's results/events, sectoral indices of various industries to make better investment decisions.

- Meet corporates in the sector as well as attend analyst meets and annual general meetings to expand his knowledge horizon.

- Compose comprehensive research reports to support investment recommendations.

- Present and brainstorm investment ideas with the investment team to take a collective decision whether or not to invest in a particular stock as a group.

- Must be able to think independently and come up with unique investing ideas.

- Support the investment team with any private equities and other ad hoc research for different projects for detailed research work.

Key Requirements:

- Excellent financial modelling and analysis skills are a pre-requisite.

- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

- Must work well in a fast paced environment with others in a closely-knitted team, and yet be able to work independently.
