Equity Research - Healthcare/Pharma/TMT/Media Sector - BFSI

We are looking for candidates who have 4+ years of experience in Equity Research.

Candidates who are covering HealthCare, Pharma or Media (TMT) sectors only.

Job Location- Mumbai

Experience- 4+ years

Education:

MBA from premier academic institution, CA (preferably from Big Four Accounting Firms) and/or CFA certification is strongly recommended.

Skills:

- The candidate should have prior equity research experience. The candidate should be a pragmatic "self-starter" who is prepared to learn about this sector - someone who can work both independently if the analyst is traveling or as part of a team.

- Good data management and analysis skills and a high degree of comfort with Excel; should be comfortable in maintaining and updating existing models and databases.

- Ability to collect and analyze sector data based on secondary information; should be familiar with specific sources of industry data.

- Good valuation modeling skills (DCF and Relative Valuation); good understanding of key financial metrics relevant to the media industry; Strong financial statement analysis skills.

- Strong writing skills (good at structuring the report and articulating the key findings); Ability to synthesize ideas in a clear, logical, and precise written English; must be already involved in writing research reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with companies and overseas colleagues

- Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.

- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and will possess strong organizational skills.
