Equity Research (Credit Strategy )

This role is related to FIXED INCOME Credit strategy & Risk

- The Credit Strategy team provides market leading coverage on global credit markets. The research associate will work with strategists in London, NY and Hong Kong to help analyze market trends at both the macro and company level, implement quantitative models for portfolio analysis, and identify investment strategies.

- Additionally, the associate will work with the team on the credit derivatives effort, where topics and analytics will include the cash/CDS basis relationship, credit derivative indices, and complex products such as corporate index-tranches and credit index options. Much of the analysis will be used in written published research. .

- Must be thorough and extremely detail oriented, with a low tolerance for error.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines required.

- Must be independent enough to look for solutions to problems, but keep detailed records of what assumptions and steps were taken, and be able to communicate the logic in a clear and concise manner

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- Basic knowledge of derivative products, option pricing, portfolio management and numerical methods

- Aptitude for applying mathematical modeling to financial products/markets
