Equity Research Associate - Capital Goods/Logistics/Infrastructure

About the role -

Basic -

1. Company : MNC (HK headquartered) investment banking and institutional equities research / trading platform

2. Designation : Research Associate

3. Coverage: Capital Goods, Logistics and Infrastructure

4. Reports to : Lead Analyst for Capital Goods, Logistics and Infrastructure

Key responsibilities -

1. To track the companies in the allocated sector

2. To build and update the financial models after a thorough understanding

3. Detailed review of financial statements, estimates and projections for the next 3-5 years, carrying out relevant valuation methods to value equity

4. To assist in writing in detail Initiating coverage reports, special reports, periodic reports, sector updates, thematics

5. Attend road-shows, quarterly calls

6. To maintain database with supporting data / information for everything written in the published research reports

Requirements -

1. MBA / CA / CFA

2. 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience

3. Broad understanding of the economy-industry-company concepts

4. Excellent quantitative analytical skills in financial modeling and valuation methods

5. Expertise in Report writing in a highly presentable format

6. Excellent oral & written communication skills

7. Expertise in excel and power point

8. Familiarity with databases like Bloomberg, Capitaline
