Equity Research Analyst - IT

Job Title: Research Analyst – Equity- IT Industry

Job Location: Chennai, India

Specific responsibilities include:

- Assuming independent coverage one or more sectors/ industries.

- Performing equity research and analysis, and make stock recommendations to Portfolio Managers.

The job will involve:

- Compiling data from multiple sources to develop detailed financial models.

- Conducting thorough financial statement analysis, visits with company management and discussions with other industry contacts that help establish and support investment recommendations.

- Presenting investment recommendations supported by a comprehensive and thoughtful research process.

Ideal candidates will have:

- MBA or equivalent advanced education from a top School, and a strong undergraduate degree. CFA designation desirable.

- At least 4 years of post MBA work experience as an Equity Analyst covering Indian companies.

- Strong knowledge of economics and financial markets.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate analysis and recommendations.

- Strong analytical capabilities with previous experience building detailed financial models.

- Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

- Commitment to a permanent relocation to Chennai.
