Equity Research Analyst - Asset Management Firm

Organisation : One of India's largest AMCs with AUM of INR 50,000 crores has set up a fund that invests into global equities. This team is based in GIFT City at Ahmedabad. The role is a buy-side, front-end role.

Role : Equity Research Analyst

Coverage : Global Equities (US, Europe, Emerging)

Location : GIFT City Ahmedabad

Responsibilities :

- To initiate and conduct research on foreign companies, monitor performance of international stocks, and offer recommendations to internal team & clients.

- Analyse a wide range of sectors and industries based on the fundamental finance principles, the stock and investment ratios.

- Stay abreast of emerging economic trends and developments in stock markets by maintaining and analysing sectoral databases.

- Tracking high frequency indicators that are critical to the sector and the stocks under coverage.

- Generate new investment ideas as a supplement to central research coverage

- Building and maintaining financial models for revenue and earnings forecasts, cash flow analysis, balance sheet, valuation, and quarterly earnings projections.

Education qualifications : CA / CFA / MBA

Experience : 5-15 years in equity research (buy or sell side), preferably in global equites
