Team : Centralized Mutual Fund Research Team

Skill Set :

- Experience in analyzing funds, asset management companies, hedge fund companies or banking institutions is preferable.

- Strong analytical insight and analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate rational, well-articulated and timely decisions.

- High standard of accuracy and excellent attention to detail; with ability to also see the overall situation and follow a disciplined research process.

- Hands on experience and comfort level with Excel and other research tools like Lipper. Morningstar, Bloomberg etc

Educational Background :

- Qualifications would include a post graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field (Qualified CFA, CA, FRM),

- Seeking candidates only from Tier 1 business schools.

Roles :

- To keep abreast with the market economics and asset class idiosyncrasies to capture and analyze dynamic information that may have a potential impact on the underlying investments in the mutual funds under coverage.

- Preparation for a due diligence call with the Portfolio Manager is the key to any good research. Lead Analyst to look at all facets of the fund both qualitative as well as quantitative to prepare a list of questions for the due diligence call.

- To undertake detailed and rigorous research of mutual fund products and prepare quality mutual fund research reports.
