Equity Analyst - BFSI

The Role

You will have an opportunity to represent one of India's most differentiated consumer investment funds, source interesting and relevant opportunities to build exciting businesses, and help the investing team at Tomorrow Capital understand, shortlist and invest in them.

You will also build relationships with investors and funds across the ecosystem and help portfolio companies raise further capital.

Your role will include:

- Industry mapping - Map the selected industries will all key information and primary research at an ongoing basis and network with relevant folks.

- Market intelligence - understand market dynamics and opportunity size, both for new opportunities and for existing portfolio.

- Network with relevant community of investors and start-ups to increase awareness of Tomorrow Capital brand

- Identify opportunities - find relevant opportunities in the selected category/industry at an early stage and constantly track the understanding and key events

- Represent brand across forums - both formal and informal. Active participation in the start-up community, develop a robust ecosystem of peer VCs, startup CEOs, bankers, etc.

The Person:

Qualifications you should have:

- Graduate/MBA with relevant work experience of 2-5 years

- Experienced (preferred) in young/early-stage start-ups or VC firm

- Worked in a role which involved building or managing strong networks in the VCs, start-up and corporate communities

- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and problem-solving skills

- Strong analytical, networking and communication skills (oral & written)

- Good understanding of business concepts and ability to understand and drive investment thesis

- Commercial insight and understanding of business metrics and structure to build a preliminary understanding of any business

- Penchant for ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment
