Title: Sr / Lead Business System Analyst - Strategic Programs Office

Job Location: Bangalore, India. Some travel may be required depending on need.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analyst is a key role within the Strategic Programs Office that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play a pro-active enablement role. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, integrity and a willingness to put the company's interest above all else. The incumbent is expected to support in the execution of various strategic and operational excellence initiatives in the form of programs, with minimal guidance and supervision.

Specifically, the Business Systems Analyst has the following roles and responsibilities.

Resource Management & Business Operations :

- Model data in order to create reporting infrastructure/dashboards for business process management and data mining

- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs

- Design summary, detail and dashboard reports, and management summary to present analysis and recommendations in a concise and readable format

Program Support (for Strategic Initiatives):

- Support Program Manager in definition program scope and structure program execution plan

- Gather and document requirements for the program in a structured manner

- Own and drive work stream(s) within a program assigned and drive them to closure within defined timelines

- Work closely with program team members and provide operational support to program team members to drive program outcomes

- Work with various business stakeholders to drive program support & coordination

- Escalate issues/risks at the work stream level in a timely manner and support in driving resolution

- Support in preparing status report and dashboards for program sponsor and stakeholders

The role is expected to evolve over a period of time with additional responsibilities added to the list above.

Mandatory Qualifications :

- A Bachelor's degree or higher, with 4-6 years of experience in Industry

- Experience in business operations reporting and analysis

- Expert skills in using following Microsoft/equivalent tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project

- Expertise in VBA Macros and driving reporting automation using VBA

- Experience in any of the reporting and BI tools like Business Objects, Tableau, etc.

- Some level of program/project management experience
