Position Overview
Epsilon India is the newest member in the Epsilon family. We have been scaling our India operations at a rapid pace over the last 2.5 years and have established Epsilon India as the global talent hub that delivers high quality mar-tech products and services to various clients globally.
As we continue to scale and grow, we are looking for sales leaders who can connect with major brands in India and advise those brands on how to make virtual one to one personalized connections with their customers. The ideal candidate will be an expert at creating relationships with some of the most desired Indian as well as global brands by understanding the needs of these enterprises and bringing relevant solutions to drive their marketing agenda.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Director of Sales will drive new business opportunities for Epsilon's solutions and services in the Indian market and grow our client base in this region. The incumbent will support prospective and existing clients and grow our customer base and top line revenue in India.
Specifically, the Director of Sales will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Be responsible for new business development as per defined sales targets. Overtime, there will be potential to drive new business development and revenue targets across the Middle East and APAC regions
- Provide inputs into the strategic sales planning process
- Be accountable for all business development leads for Epsilon India
- Connect with key influencers and decision makers in potential client organization and develop relationships
- Develop a strong understanding of Epsilon's mar-tech offerings and be able to articulate a convincing value proposition for the client based on their business needs
- Solution the offerings for clients based on Epsilon offerings and client requirements
- Help evolve a robust roadmap for Epsilon's mar-tech offerings by identifying trending mar-tech capabilities in the Indian market
- Lead conversations with CMO/Brand Directors of prospective clients and serve as their trusted advisors to enable them invest to and optimize their returns on mar-tech spend
- Work closely with the internal Clients, Client Services, Product & Delivery teams to drive sales of Epsilon's mar-tech offerings in the Indian market
- Nurture business development opportunities by coordinating with internal teams on all aspects of the solution design, service delivery and pricing through the business development process
- Acts as voice of customer across the organization and champion Epsilon's products and solutions with the customer
- Have a strong growth mindset by relentlessly pursuing new opportunities with clients
Key Performance Areas
The Director of Sales will be measured on the following key performance areas:
- Achieve/exceed planned Sales Revenue & Contribution Margin across Epsilon's solutions
- Drive growth in Sales (# customers & TCV)
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction by working collaboratively with Client Services, Product & Delivery teams
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a Sales Director with proven experience in building & scaling word class sales organizations. Specifically, s/he should:
- Have strong Marketing Technology AND/OR Digital Agency experience
- be passionate about client success
- be viewed as a trusted advisor to clients
- create value by solving real business problems, and
- understand the value of coordinating and working in teams.
The incumbent is required to have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10-15 years- new business development/client leadership within digital marketing, advertising technology, and interactive services.
- Experience with managing digital marketing opportunities greater than $1million in annual program expenditures
- Past experience as a team player who can work with multiple departments to deliver results
- A self-starter who is resourceful and creative with their approach to getting things done
- Excellent written and verbal communications
