We are a knowledge enterprise, focused to develop Intellectual properties in the field of intelligent measurements, with a vision to help the energy constrained world to MANAGE Energy BETTER through our state of art smart devices and solutions and make the energy resources accountable, affordable and sustainable.   What are we looking for :   Purchase/Commercial Lead in Metering  Key Responsibilities :   - Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors   - Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project   - Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions   - In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules   - Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors   - Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors   - Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation   - Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements   - Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned  - Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.  - Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.  - Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.  - Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.  - Administer on-line purchasing systems.  - Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.  - Vendor Development / Vendor Management   - Supply Chain Management   - Purchase & Procurement of Material   - Material Management   Education  - BE/ B.Tech (Electrical /Mechanical)  Experience  - Preferred 8+ years relevant working experience in a similar capacity in metering industry   - Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers   - Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker   - Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude   - Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access) and SAP   - Possess good communication and interpersonal skills   - Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
