Position - EHS Officer

Location - Bangalore

Expereince : 6-9 years

Qualification : Msc(Envin Sc) and Diploma in Industrial Safety

1. ENVIRONMENT :

a. Pollution control methods (waste water treatment, air pollution control equipments)

b. Pollution control monitoring analysis.

c. Pollution control board (PCB) regulatory activities like Submission on monthly, half yearly & yearly returns.

d. Knowledge on Air act, Water Act, Hazardous waste Act, Batteries act, as PCB consent requirements.

e. Knowledge on IS0 14001

2. HEALTH

a. Identification of occupational health hazards.

b. Identification of root cause of injury.

c. Creating awareness on Industrial Hygiene.

3. SAFETY

a. Assessing the risk management.

b. conducting the safety audits.

c. conducting the Departmental & central safety committee meetings.

d. Conducting the training programs on LOTO, SOP, Material Handling, electrical safety, LPG safety etc.,

e. Conducting the Mock drill/emergency evacuation.

f. Legal compliance to Factories Act-1948, Gas cylinder Rules-2004, SMPV Rules, etc.,

g. Identification of Near Miss incidents, reporting & environmental incidents & its CAPA.

h. Building safety culture in the plant
