Environment Head - EHS

Position - Head Environment (Corporate)

Reporting to - General Manager

Location - H.O Mumbai

Industry - Cement

Working Days - 5 Days a Week

Responsibilities

- Lead Environment function from corporate.

- Ensure implementation of EHS policy across site and offices.

- Monitor status of environmental performance across sites, plants.

- Compilation of data on Env performance and report its dash board.

- Update EHS legal requirements compliance and communicate and drive to implement it. Ensure full legal compliance across sites.

- Liasoning with Govt officer as per need to support plant and project sites.

- Conduct training on environment and workplace monitoring and monitor its effectiveness.

- Create awareness program for environmental awareness.

- Assist in ESG integration into functions and monitor it. Drive initiatives on reduction in carbon foot print and water foot print.

- Ensure that risk assessment and environmental aspects are conducted for all new and modified products and processes and other site operations, help site to develop and implement environmental impact mitigation control.

- Drive environmental targets and associated improvement plans and track its progress.

- Monitor and develop Environment MIS and track Env related best practices, capex projects, and provide recommendation on its installation, operation and maintenance, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineer/M.Sc in Environmental Science

Additional desirable qualification: Post/ Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety. Lead Auditor in Environment Management System
