Job brief:
Envigo is looking for a Head of Business Development who would relish playing a leadership role in the organisation. The Head of Business Development would be responsible for new client acquisition and management of existing clients to increase the revenue of the company while maintaining profitability. He/she would be reporting to the director and working closely with different team heads at envigo. The candidate would also be managing a team of business development managers and account managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating domestic and international sales strategy for the organisation
- Managing the sales process for new client acquisitions
Lead generation through new and existing channels
Identifying and meeting potential clients
Requirement identification and gathering
Client pitch and proposal creation
Negotiations and follow-ups
- Relationship management with the existing as well as potential clients
- Managing a team of business development managers to increase business through new client acquisitions
- Managing a team of account managers
Review of service delivery to the existing clients
Looking out for new business opportunities with the existing clients
- Regular review with the team of account managers and business development managers
- Setting up annual targets for the team
- Regular communication with top management to build towards the company's goals
