Entrepreneur In Residence - CXO Role - Global Tourism Startup - IIT/IIM

About the Company: The startup is in the domain of global travel and tourism that effectively combines online and offline services to create a personalised experience while travelling for business or leisure. It is backed by Idein Ventures which is a global Venture Capital and Private Equity firm with startup and growth capital investments (including investments in other tourism-related startups) and has a global growth plan with support from huge international firms in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To create business model, financial model and strategy documents for different parts of the business

2. To initiate and conduct several on ground operations from scratch

3. To represent the company on social media, professional media, and other online and offline media

4. To help recruit senior and middle management employees for the company

5. To strategize, oversee and complete all general activities associated with the company

6. To reach out to destination managers, travel agents etc., and work on creating supply of vendors

7. To handle marketing, sales, and operations in due course of time

Skills:

1. Entrepreneurship experience is preferred

2. Experience of 1-4 years needed

3. Experience in preparing financial documents and IMs is preferred

4. Background of travel industry is needed, in form of personal or professional experience

5. Experience in creating teams from scratch and building a profit centre is preferred.

6. Graduate from top universities (IIT/IIM) is preferred

The role grows into a CxO role in future, depending on the performance.
