About the organization:

- India’s first Consumer Health Resource Organization and one of the world’s largest consumer health libraries

Purpose of the Role

- The role of the Entrepreneur would be to scale existing and new projects of the library/resource center and to bring it to a level of self-sustainability

- The role is envisioned as one which can grow into the role of CEO/COO

Tasks and Responsibilities

- To enable the organization to deploy and scale the programs, thus principally being responsible for the overall success of the project

- To develop and implement an operational / marketing /business plan enabling to scale-up of the Library projects and present the same to the Founder

- To generate new ideas to scale projects to meet outlined goals

- To establish and develop new business strategies in scaling up the program

- To implement strategies to execute an approved business plan

- To manage project resources (financial and non financial) including team management effectively

- To network, develop and manage strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

- To carry out additional responsibilities as required from time to time

Qualifications

- We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated social entrepreneur (preferably a doctor or a medical professional) with a passion to promote quality health education (Patient Education) in new and innovative ways

- A social entrepreneur from the medical field having a background in successful / attempted business and/or social enterprise to become part of our core management team.

Minimum Experience

- Passion for working in the healthcare education sector

- Sound understanding on the importance of growing consumer health education.

- Strong entrepreneurial/business skills, thus taking ownership of every program

- Ability to think out of the box, see new opportunities displaying strong marketing skills.

- A self starter who can taken on the projects head on with a futuristic approach

- Strong team management and people skills

Role specific technical skills

- Having sound medical knowledge on consumer health education

- Good concept knowledge on building e-libraries using effective and innovative technology inputs

- T skills to promote online activities
