About our client:

Our client is an American multinational. They are one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers in the world.

Purpose of the role:

Cost accounting for assets at various sites in APAC

Your responsibilities will include:

- Review of product cost roll up to ensure accuracy and understand cost drivers.

- Review variances for accuracy and analyze root causes.

- Satisfy various Cost reporting requests and analysis for businesses.

- Organize and execute the Cost Center Budgeting process.

- Record and monitor cost and inventory accounting entries during the monthly closing.

- Reconcile inventory accounts.

- Participate in and support internal and external audits.

- Facilitate the inter-company rebilling process.

- Facilitate SOX compliance for Cost Accounting activities.

- Monitor and maintain work processes to ensure internal controls in data integrity.

- Provide training/backup support within the area based cost team.

- Provide determinations between Capital and Expense

- Execute cost center recoveries and analyze residuals

Ideal Candidate:

As an ideal candidate, you are a qualified ICWA/CMA with 7 to 12 years of post qualification experience. As an individual, you are highly motivated with strong aspirations to achieve and with interest in a broad array of finance disciplines. You possess excellent communication skills and are a detailed and analytical thinker.
