Major Purpose:

Investigates, audits, trains, gathers, and disseminates information; presents court testimony; and analyzes investigations for John Deere Worldwide Security.

Major Duties:

- Conducts enterprise investigations including frauds, thefts, business conduct guideline violations, due diligence, drugs, workplace violence issues, backgrounds, and executive special requests.

- Helps direct the enterprise field investigative activities and works with legal counsel both internally and externally. Helps direct auditing, marketing, credit management, security, safety, and other business groups. Maintains close liaison with law enforcement personnel and prosecutors plus is responsible for report preparation and evidence gathering.

- Analyzes, recommends, and utilizes appropriate security equipment, concepts, and techniques that are related to the investigative function.

- Organizes and analyzes results of investigations, presents findings to management, and recommends strategies and corrective action.

- Provides testimony in civil and criminal court proceedings and participates in the taking of sworn depositions, case preparation, witness briefing, court exhibit identification and organization, and other court matters.

- Develops and provides training and presentations related to the investigative process, procedures, and results.

- Directs all activities of the Investigations & Asset Recovery Division during the Manager's absence.

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge :

Analytical skills.

Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style.

Knowledge about security systems and related technical information.

Knowledge of loss prevention strategies.

Knowledge about current criminal and civil laws and procedures at the local, state, and federal levels.

Specialized knowledge of the criminal justice agencies processes and procedures.

Duties: -

- The Enterprise Corporate Investigator position is a role for a skilled and experienced professional who will be expected to lead investigations of varying complexity and sensitivity.

- This role will identify and execute an appropriately scoped investigative strategy, gather and analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare comprehensive reports to include as necessary recommendations to mitigate risk and for operational improvements.

- The role will brief stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Management, etc.,) periodically on case status, as well as relevant findings during the course of the investigation, on a need-to-know basis.

- The role may also require presenting courtroom testimony and liaison with law enforcement.

- The types of investigations to be performed would include, but are not limited to, code of conduct, criminal matters, thefts, fraud, and due diligence.

- This role will be expected to interact with multiple internal stakeholders including IT, Legal, HR/LR, Internal Audit, etc., in a fast paced and technology driven environment.

- This position works with a shared purpose and in alignment with the Corporate Investigations Strategy and while India will be the primary location of support, this role will also support other regions as needed.

- Good to have any certification in Enterprise Security/ Fraud Examination/ Threat Program Manager/Enterprise Investigation.
