Enterprise Architect in Kuala Lumpur (MALAYSIA)

One of our clients, a leading IT outsourcing organization of Malaysia , has an urgent opening for “Enterprise Architect/ Chief Enterprise Architect” position in Kuala Lumpur (MALAYSIA). The proposed role is as below:

Responsibility:

- Developing and implementing new technology initiatives and align the technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies

- Lead the Plan & Build efforts to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.

- Build and manage top flight technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management

- Infrastructure strategy planning and architecture with focus in Total IT outsourcing, Cloud Computing Offerings, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery & Data Centre Solutions.

- Take a leadership role in the establishment of technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.

- Provide visible leadership for the company within the technology community

Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.

- MBA with Degree in Computer Science or information technology is highly preferred

- Enterprise Architecture Certification, such as The Open Group Architect Framework (TOGAF) certification is highly preferred

- Knowledge on Enterprise Hardware involving systems such as Mainframe, IBM AS/400 (System i), HP UX & IBM AIX is highly preferred

- Have a blend of business acumen, Enterprise large-scale IT system know-how, governance and operations

- Substantial experience in developing business strategies with senior management and successful execution of strategies.

- Hands-on, highly organized and directed leader

- Excellent Communication & Management skills
