Role : - Own the product side of our sales enablement platform - Lead a small team of product analysts and QA engineers to deliver quality products on time - Interact with domain experts and users to understand the pain points - Take vague or idea-level inputs, and turn them into detailed requirements - Be persistent in making sure that the business requirements are clear: a. Ask questions in ten different ways until you get clarity on what is best for the customer b. When requirements are not clearly defined, get customer context and pain points c. Be ready to model the product based on your understanding, get it reviewed, and iterate quickly d. When you start detailing, fill the gaps in business requirements, based on your customer's understanding e. Be a bullst filter for low-value or vanity features - Own and drive product usage metrics: Content consumption, User retention, usage frequency etc - Document every requirement in detail, using whichever format works best for that piece: We use spreadsheets, word docs, presentations, whiteboards, pen-paper, and detailed prototypes - Track everything a. Requirements involve different people delivering different things - make sure everyone knows their priorities and deliverables b. Track deliverables and checklist everything, so that even small items like icons or error texts do not delay a product release c. Use (and make others use) tools like Trello, Google Docs, and Calendar, based on the need - Bring in a strong design sense - so you can give input on UI/UX and our design team can bounce ideas off you
