Job Overview:

As the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of IT Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities within the IT sector. You will be responsible for building and nurturing key client relationships, understanding their business needs, and positioning our comprehensive suite of IT solutions to meet those needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving successful business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector.

- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and market share.

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth.

2. Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Understand client needs and pain points to tailor IT solutions that address their business challenges.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

3. Sales Leadership:

- Lead a high-performance sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the client base.

- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.

4. Proposal Development and Negotiation:

- Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.

- Lead contract negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with clients.

5. Market Intelligence:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market intelligence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from Top Institutes in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Min 15 years of Proven experience in IT business development, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.

- Strong understanding of IT solutions, services, and emerging technologies.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
