- Minimum 5 years direct experience of the Asia Listed Derivatives Operations with advanced knowledge of GMI system

Roles :

Portfolio Reconciliations :

We offer :

- Supervisory oversight of affiliate vendor in Pune and analysts in London to ensure that key daily tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

- Continued review of SLAs and capacity model with affiliate vendor

- Effective prioritization of demanding requests from external clients and internal areas

- Develop and streamline the break resolution workflow process across products and entities

- Monitor metrics to ensuring key controls are adhered to

- Understanding key risks are identified and appropriately escalated

- Coordinating senior representatives from Trading, Product Control and Middle Office to drive root cause analysis and facilitate resolution key risk breaks

- Contribute to system enhancements

- In depth understanding of OTC Ftb trade life cycle

- Minimum 5 years industry experience, preferable in Operations, Collateral Management and/or Portfolio Reconciliations

- Experience in managing teams

- Project experience preferable

Listed Derivatives :

- As part of a off-shore deployed process, the person will be responsible to provide in-location supervision and support to outsourced vendor staff. With a thorough knowledge of APAC Listed Derivatives operations lifecycle the candidate will have the expertise required to support the deployed team in the identification and timely resolution of breaks and production of MI and regulatory reporting. The individual will be supported by a group of subject matter experts in Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Key objectives for the role include :

- Learn the CS reconciliation, regulatory reporting and MI processes

- Provide subject matter support to vendor staff in a supervisory context

- Perform daily reviews and spot checks to ensure levels of performance

- Deepdive issues and ensure long-term remediation in partnership with onshore teams

- Identify opportunities to improve information sharing and effective collaboration between CS groups at the vendor

- Develop a working knowledge of CS system architecture relating to Front office - back office (FOBO)/ Exchange/ Broker/ Intercompany reconciliation process

- Develop further understanding of GMI and other reconciliation tools including familiarity with macros that directly relate to the reconciliations you are supporting

- Fully proficient in completing all functions detailed in the checklists / procedures attributed to your role by deadlines set without guidance

- Demonstrate the CS values around teamwork and trust - fully integrates within the team

- Be pro-active in leading initiatives to enhance efficiencies and controls with the team; Suggest changes that will bring measurable improvements in control and capacity

- Strong client focus, understand who your clients are and what they need. This includes internal dependencies e.g. IT support groups and other CS offices. Meets/ exceeds client expectations in a sustainable way in agreement with your supervisor
