Engineering/Senior Engineering Manager - FinTech

We have an urgent opening for Engineering Manager for a leading fintech/ financial product company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the technical roadmap of one of the key components of product and delivery responsibility.

- Ability to understand ?why? a feature should be built in the services you own and its impact on the overall ecosystem.

- Act as an architect in the team and mentor team members to come up with the technical solution that scale, follow SOA principles and prioritize right set of features.

- Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment

- Work closely with product counterpart and help in technical solutioning, design and interactions with other services.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge of software engineering practices and best practices like coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

- 9+ years of server side application development experience with Java/Scala/Python, SOA, JSON, NO-SQL, SQL, Web-Services and at least 5 years on one of the leading cloud

- Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery

- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills.

- Proven success in building, motivating and retaining teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs

- Excellent judgement, organizational, and problem solving skills

- Excellent design and architecture knowledge

- Data driven decision making.
