Engineering Project Manager - Mechanical & Aerospace Firm

- Deliver: Engineering Project Manager - Mechanical and Aerospace will be responsible for leading the New Product Development of ideaForge products. He will be managing the product development starting from the Preconception phase to Concept and Development and final handing over the product design to the manufacturing team. Creating and presenting a consistent project monitoring dashboard with parameters like cost, resources, status, risk, projections etc for all stakeholders to be able to review and take an informed decision on the same.

- Strong mechanical design discipline: It is imperative that the Project manager comes with a strong understanding and passion for Engineering technologies. He should be well versed with the latest engineering solutions and should be willing to participate in technical discussions for product development.

- Mature Project Management Practices: The candidate should be well versed with project management practices for playing a pivotal role in developing new products in the engineering department. He will be the channel of communication between R&D and Management to highlight risk and deploy mitigation plan. Work with engineers to understand the current status, discuss steps, understand risks and highlight them within the team to be able to resolve them in time.

- Learning and Growth: Aspire and drive to evolve as the most impactful functional leader of the organization in a very short period, based on demonstrated performance.

Essential:

- Comes with a relevant experience of 10-15 years. With at least 5 years in Project Management Domain.

- Is comfortable delivering excellent engineering results in a constantly evolving and fast paced product development environment.

- Hands-on leader and be able to motivate engineers to get the best output from the team

- Has a record of successful management and delivery of hardware products/components as a team leader and/or project manager (Has grown through the ranks in hardware product engineering function)

- Be able to present to the management and stakeholders various aspects of the project. Present projections and get approval for resources, time or cost based on project requirements or changes in plan.
