Engineering Project Manager - Electro-Mechanical/Automotive

Role & responsibilities :

- Develop, manage and execute project and process plans, implement activities in the areas of project management, implement policies, procedures, and sets operational goals in the engineering product development company.

- Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders from different skill areas and functions and lead an integrated engineering team through different project integration phases. Proven ability to work with a geographically diversified team.

- Expertise to determine the process to be used to accomplish goals, documentation, resources management and activities. Understanding on how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes, preparation of risk analysis and optimization techniques for the entire product development life cycle.

- Develop and maintain budgets, schedules and program enterprise processes/policies. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches for the products and processes. Manages project management methods and motivates all team members to follow the methods.

- Demonstrated skills in metrics-based management. Take the responsibility from the scratch to the close out of the entire project management activities.

- Prior experience in managing complex development projects, knowledge of project management best practises and processes.

- Candidate should have the experience, knowledge and the ability in dealing with multi-discipline engineering, business operations and production projects.

- At least 7 years of experience in project management/ program management with engineering R & D/ Manufacturing/ Heavy industries/ Aerospace/ Defence/ Electro-Mechanical/ Automotive industries/Deep- tech industries.
