Engineering Manager - International Business - Online/Internet

This is a critical role for a consumer brand. This is a future-looking role where the person responsible for this team will grow the business internationally (for now one country) from scratch - doing the role of CTO to the capable business team under the leadership of CBO and Head of Products. The person will have to wear multiple hats and think in & build systems for all business dimensions: Frontend web & native apps, Supply chain, Stores operations & Stores selling, etc. The role & team is to grow into tech for the complete region as we open up more markets in SEA.

Major Responsibilities:-

- Architecture, design and development of high-performance software applications and software platforms

- Identifying technology trends implement and execute cutting edge technology to create a highly scalable and high-performance platform.

- Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.

- Shall be responsible for redesigning existing systems to suit the needs of the Singapore market

- In-house development and improvements to the warehouse process..

- Optimized internal tools, enabled new functionalities, integrations with third-party systems to automate functions.

- Using data and building analytic models to improve standards, processes, and policies for corporate-wide infrastructure and service operations.

- Come up with innovative solutions to scale the Business in the Singapore Market

Job requirements

Persons Specifications:

- Ideal candidate should have 10+ years of industry experience and at least 2 years of experience in people management

Educational Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent Degree.

MBA will be an added advantage

- Must have experience with database-driven web technologies to work on high volume, high- availability, large-scale public-facing websites.

- Familiar with more than one software development methodology
