Engineering Manager - eCommerce

Recruiting Engineering manager for a Tier I e-commerce company. Candidates with experience in app development and engineering background can apply

- B.E/B.tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- 8+ years of experience building successful production software systems

- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C#, C++ and at least one script/Web programming (i.e. Perl, Mason, JavaScript)

- 2+ years people management experience

- Industry experience in managing software engineering teams to launch iOS or Android phone or tablet apps is strongly preferred.

- Deep, hands-on technical expertise in high scale, service-oriented architectures

- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

- Proactively and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon's business and relevant technologies, and use this knowledge to deliver high quality, accurate software deliverables

- Strong business and technical vision
