About our client:

Our client is a market leader in India & SEA built to automate workflows around equity management process for Cap Tables, ESOPs, Due-diligence, and Transactions.

It is a Singapore headquartered digital equity management platform for private companies, particularly start-ups. Their Product, Qap Map, is designed to enable capitalization table (Cap Table) management, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) management and digital ESOP issuance with the aim of eventually enabling digital share issuance for companies across South and Southeast Asia. It has raised a total funding of $22.2M over 4 rounds. It's latest funding round was a Series A round on Oct 06, 2021 for $15M. It has acquired 2 organizations. It Their most recent acquisition was Unlisted kart on Aug 17, 2023. It has 16 investors including Vulcan Capital and Endiya Partners.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and empower the talented team of developers for our client. You will be responsible for driving the development of high-quality, scalable solutions, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Must Have:

Tech Stack:

Backend - Linux (Ubuntu), ASP.NET Core, C#, Nginx, MongoDB, Event Store DB

Frontend - JavaScript, React ,SASS

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

- Architect and design technically robust, flexible, and scalable solutions.

- Work closely with developers to produce high-level solutions and documentation.

- Help solve technical problems when they arise.

- Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.

Team Management:

- Mentor junior team members in key decision making.

- Set up and improve processes to increase team effectiveness and efficiency.

- Establish and champion best practices for development.

- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

- Motivate and drive the team to achieve high-quality deliverables.

Project Management:

- Plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.

- Track project progress and identify potential risks.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and goals.

Qualifications:

- Should have 8+ years of work experience in software development.

- Possess 2-5 years of engineering management experience, preferably in a technology company.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Proficient in industry-standard development tools and technologies.
