Engineering Lead - IT

We are looking for a highly motivated tech professional (Engineering Lead) with 12+ years of experience in software development and working in a startup, designing and building end-to-end solutions from scratch. Individual should have experience in leading development team and always ready to get his/her hands dirty in doing coding and resolving complex tech problems

- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and data

- Oversee front-end and back-end development teams, set technical standards for SDLC processes

- A successful track record working as an engineering leader across multiple teams

- Monitor reliability, performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements

- Ensure compliance with security regulations

- Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines

- Design strategies and Implement innovative technologies for future development based on the company's overall objectives and resources

- Coordinate with external stakeholders for development and new integrations

- Extensive experience with cloud technologies

- Solid experience in leading development of Apps (Native, React, Progressive)

- Knowledge of AI/ML (Preferable)

- Must have experience with integration of tools for Warehouse management, Customer resource management, Point of sale, Analytics tool etc

- Experience in working on CMS like Magento with experience in performance optimization

- Experience in working with Rest API development

- Experience in working with open source technologies like elastic search, JavaScript, Angular JS

- Work with development team to lead for planning and tracking development of all projects through start to production

- Drive key technical and architectural decisions

- Provide project status information to the Management Team and additional stakeholders

- Working with Project/Product Manager to define Business and technical roadmaps

- Manage joint development with 3rd party vendors as well as outsourced development

- Use data and feedback from participants and peers to drive continuous optimization of cross functional team structures and software development processes

- Delivering platform roadmap and engineering strategies to build a scalable system architecture

- Experience with relational database systems (MySQL)

- Experience in working with technologies like Swift and Kotlin for Mobile application development

- Monitor and execute continuous feedback and improvement plan to increase development team's efficiency and productivity

- Follow agile development practices in collaboration with business analyst and Project manager

- Ensure project deliverables and deadlines are satisfied

- Integrate tools to improve development process(test driver development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, version control branching strategies etc)

- Oversee full lifecycle of software applications& services- from requirements gathering, architecting, estimation, development QA, deployment and maintenance
