Core function - Provide engineering support for functioning of Manufacturing plants, R&amp;D and QC labs, centralized electrical and utilities - Ensure trouble free operations at Alathur Plant. Will have Mechanical, Electrical, Utility and Instrumentation department heads reporting to him - Responsible for maintaining the validation and regulatory status of the plant - To ensure all plant and machinery is maintained as per applicable regulatory rules; Ensuring team meets customer requirements, facing audits, tracking of statutory &amp; regulatory compliance and changes - Demonstrate Comprehensive leadership and management of Good Engineering Practices (GEP) - Lead and build Empowered Engineering &amp; Maintenance (E&amp;M) Team of 200-250 personnel and provide continuous support in achieving quality output - Present Weekly/Monthly/Annual Engineering function reviews - Responsible for delivering key results with Plant Energy conservation and cost effectiveness. Incharge for Engineering cost center. - Ensuring continuous improvements &amp; engineering excellence for sterile complex. KPI's design for department and team performance, follow up of objectives and targets. - Developing a framework of systems for Engineering function &amp; implementation for ensuring system based operations. - Development of training modules for the department &amp; imparting trainings on GEP, cGMP, OHSAS &amp; SAP trainings. - To carry out Grey / Green filed projects as and when required, involve in process optimization, plant / equipment up-gradation, projects on energy conservation.
