Engineering Head - FinTech Startup

Our client is a Pre -Series B, Fintech startup backed by leading VC/PE firms. They are looking for a Head of Engineering to join their core team and lead the tech and product mandate.

Job responsibilities:

- Developing strategies for technological advancement

- Making sure that new products meet market demands

- Collaborating with IT departments to oversee technological systems

- Overseeing new product development teams

- Working with legal departments to make sure products meet legal standards

- Create a superior differentiated experience on the mobile - delivering convenience and seamless digital experience.

Required experience:

- Around 7-10 years of relevant experience with recent 2+ years in a leadership role managing a set of products in technology and product engineering.

- Must have a deep understanding of the target audience and business and should be business oriented.

- Should be able to relate to internal and external stakeholders and understand the customer pain points and demand

- Should be well networked within the technology world and should be able to drive transformational technology solutions for business impact.

- Experience in large scale B2C platforms like ecommerce / Travel sites, B2C mobile wallets / Payment platforms, other fintech experience will be preferred.

- Bachelors/master's degree in computer science/ technology from a reputed educational institute.
