Engagement Manager - Healthcare/Life Science

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector. As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, driving project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that address our clients' needs and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Identify opportunities to expand our services within existing client accounts and support business development efforts.

Project Management:

- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

- Delegate tasks effectively, leveraging team members' strengths and expertise to optimize project performance.

- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to promote synergy and alignment towards project goals.

Strategic Advisory:

- Offer strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on industry expertise, market trends, and best practices.

- Collaborate with clients to develop innovative solutions that address their business challenges and drive competitive advantage.

- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess project performance and track progress against objectives.

- Prepare regular status reports, executive summaries, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience (7+ years) in a consulting, advisory, or project management role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare/pharma industry dynamics, trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.

- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex engagements from initiation to closure.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) a plus.
