Client is a global management consulting firm operating in 16 countries, having assisted over 1000 clients since 1985. The role is based out of their Mumbai office with extensive international travel.

Job Description

Job profile includes managing consulting projects with focus on financial services clients. Profile of engagements cut across strategy formulation, balanced scorecard development, process realignment, organizational restructuring and technology transformation areas.

Typical areas of focus include corporate & retail banking, cards, wealth management, treasury, technology and operations. Rich understanding of digital innovations, fintech and industry standard technology platforms will be valued. Experience in both formulation and execution areas will be key.

Primary responsibility includes consulting engagement delivery, client relationship and team management. Role includes active client engagement across senior / middle level, issue identification, solution development and presentation. As an EM, additional responsibilities also include proposal development and cross-sell within existing client relationships. Given the client has offices in global cities, a large number of projects presently executed are in Asia/ Middle East region.

The Successful Applicant

Candidate must have 5 - 10 years of relevant consulting experience in the Financial Services industry. At least 1 - 2 years in project lead / engagement management roles. Good understanding of Fin Services industry & Fintech. Good academic pedigree, high grades from Tier-1 B-schools. Good verbal and written communication. Should be willing to travel and have a long term career view in consulting.
