Engagement Manager- Analytics Consulting
Role & responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand their business challenges and formulate business problems
- Work with teams based out of India in solving these business problems by translating the them
into an analytics problem solving framework
- Present results to senior management through insightful recommendations
- Ensure service delivered is consumed and create tangible business impact
- Building relationship with clients by understanding client business and enabling analytics to
drive business
- Motivate, lead and manage a team of talented associates to provide quality client deliverable s
- Work closely with offshore team managers to ensure smooth delivery
- Build client relationships, adopt an engagement model with clear cadence on communication
within the client organization
Required Skills
- Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought
- Ability to learn complex businesses very quickly, define problems accurately while paying
attention to detail in the solution
- Hands-on experience in Advanced Excel, VBA/Macros, SQL. Skills in SAS/R are good to have.
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and offshore teams built on trust and credibility
- Experience working with VP, SVP level executives with Fortune 500 companies
- Experience in global delivery is a definite plus
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
Education Qualification
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Business, Statistics or Economics
Experience: 5 – 12 years
Other MUST HAVE requirements:
- Candidates must have valid authorization to work for any employer in the US (H1 Visa, Green Card, US citizenship required)
- Flexibility to relocate within the USA based on project requirements
- Openness to undergo technical training in India delivery unit as and when required.
