We are working towards building a robust innovation ecosystem in India to solve industry challenges working closely with enterprises, government departments, premier institutes and start-ups- . We have recently opened a new center in Ahmedabad region at IIT Gandhinagar and looking to hire a Startup Evangelist who can help us build a strong start-ups ecosystem that can take on the challenge of driving innovations in manufacturing and healthcare industry through digital technologies. In this role, you will combine your unbridled passion and enthusiasm for business and technical innovation with your expert domain knowledge about how early stage companies can become successful organizations. Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of proven track record of engaging with technology start-ups. Key Responsibilities - Scout and build a pipeline of deep tech technology start-ups focused on solving real world industry challenges through emerging digital technologies (IoT, AI, ML, NLP, AR/VR) - Evaluate start-ups maturity level assessing them on their technology strength, innovation aptitude and market readiness. - Lead the process of start-up on boarding and engagement - Help start-ups gain skills on application of technologies on industry use cases. Plan and organize regular workshops/ mentoring sessions working with faculty from IIT and other premier institutes and also industry experts - Support planning and execution of industry events. Work with start-ups to help them demonstrate their solutions in these events. - Collaborate with Industry partnership lead to identify opportunities where start-ups can be engaged with paid POCs and new projects - Identify/ create opportunities for start-ups to connect with investors for funding support. Qualifications : - 5+ years of experience in advising early stage technology start-ups - Bachelors Engineering degree must; Masters/MBA degree preferred - Good understanding of pain points and working style of entrepreneurs, founders and technology leaders of start-ups - Strong knowledge and experience with digital/ emerging technologies - Excellent written & oral communication and program management skills - Comfortable to multitask and work under tight deadlines
