Enel Group - Specialist - Budgets & Accounts

Job description :

- The Budgets and Accounts Specialist is responsible for financial operations of Enels Energy Advisory department. This is a crucial oversight role to ensure that financial account management, budgeting, and financial reporting are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and policies. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

- Additional activities will include responsibility for handling the teams external consultants and working with the Accounts team on Accounting matters

What will you do:

1. Financial Budgeting:

- Perform accurate monthly closing and budget forecasts on timely manner

- Manage the organization's budgeting process, including coordinating with department heads to gather inputs, establish budgetary goals, and issue regular monitoring reporting

- Maintain source financial data systems

- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and propose corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met

- Interact with corporate accounting teams on budget matters and to receive and distribute required financial reporting

- Work with accounts team to populate figures into reporting systems

2. Contractor/vendor Management:

- Contribute to Contract Management via participating in negotiations, contract preparation, contract updating, SOW maintenance, and billing oversight

- Manage Contractor billing, including leading follow up with managers as required

- Serve as vendor point-of-contact and liaison between managers and vendor

3. Accounts Management :

- Independently manage TDS and GST matters

- Handle tax collection details from employees

- Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections

- Work with accounts team to help with accounting activities

- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner

- Collaborate with the finance team and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting reporting schedules

Who you are : You are smart and qualified finance, accounts and budgeting specialist with hands-on experience who enjoys working in a complex, supportive, and challenging environment.

What we search in you :

- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis

- Excellent skills in Advanced Microsoft Excel

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Should be comfortable and available for 100% office working, however the role is currently hybrid as per the requirement of the Company

- Should be fine working in morning or late morning shift (late morning shift will be from 11 am) to support international teams and meetings
