The Role :

As part of the Data Science team, you will be responsible for building machine learning models around customer taste and customer journey. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of data science solution cycle - from understanding problem statements, defining data needs, building visualizations that tell stories to wrapping ML models into consumable APIs.

Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for telling effective stories through data visualizations

- You will be expected to build scalable ML models that exploit both in-house data and data from internet

- You will be expected to follow the latest standards and best practices in Data Science

- You will be expected to write blogs and present in tech conferences about the exciting work

You should apply for this role if :

- You have at least 3 years of experience building ML models at scale

- You have strong skills in machine learning, probability, and/or statistics

- You have a decent understanding of Natural Language Processing concepts

- You are fluent in R, Python or Julia

- You have experience writing production ready code in any programming language

Bonus Points :

- You have a good understanding of functional programming, especially Clojure

- You have experience handling data at scale using distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, Storm and/or Hadoop

- You have an excellent rank on Kaggle and/or a stack exchange profile with good contributions

- You have presented/published your work in tech/scientific conferences and journals
