Purpose of Role:
This role will be primarily responsible for high level of Talent Engagement across Bangalore location, through creative talent strategies and administrative excellence. The role exists to also foster a positive work environment through focused culture, development and communication interventions.
Job Responsibilities :
HR Operations & Compliance :
- Manage employee onboarding and induction process to integrate new joinees smoothly into the organization and its culture
- Drive employee relations by being a people champion and change agent to foster a healthy work environment
- Assist in administration of employee benefits to ensure efficiency of HR operations
- Drive and implement policy changes and grievance redressal locally to maintain organizational hygiene
- Liaison with different stakeholders such as Corp IT, Corporate HR and Facility teams for improved delivery of HR services
- Manage employee separation processes to ensure smooth transition for exiting employees
- Drive infrastructure improvement projects locally to ensure facility offers a conducive work environment
Employee Engagement :
- Conceptualize, design and implement HR policies and processes such as Retention, Rewards & Recognition, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Compensation Strategy
- Lead and execute innovative engagement events across the organization in partnership with key stakeholders
- Implement surveys to gauge pulse of employees and actionize the feedback into focused interventions to enhance engagement
Budget Management :
- Manage budgeting for engagement initiatives annually to optimize costs effectively
Business Partnering :
- Function as a local point of contact for business managers to recommend solutions for improved engagement levels
- Support the businesses through strong HR partnership to drive people agenda
Endurance school of Excellence :
- Co-Drive the learning and development function (Endurance School of Excellence) for the entire organization in partnership with the co-lead in Mumbai. It includes needs analysis, content design, delivery, feedback collation and measurement of effectiveness for the location to improve people capabilities
- Be responsible for end to end design and execution of the behavioral programs either in-house or in partnership with the right vendor. Responsible for initiating and facilitating the technical training programs in partnership with internal and/or external experts.
- Review the budgets, plan for learning sessions for the whole year and prepare an annual calendar of learning and development. Announce calendars on a monthly basis to the entire organization.
- Role will require an aptitude in branding employee interventions and ability to plan for org wide interventions.
Competencies :
Functional Competencies :
- Strong conceptual knowledge of HR practices and Organization Behavior theories
- Knowledge of HR statutory compliances
- Ability to impart trainings/learning sessions
- Appreciation of legal risks and liabilities associated with HR processes
- Well versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
