What's the position-

We are currently searching for a Accounts Manager to join our team in Bangalore. As a Accounts Manager, you will be expected to possess:

A deep understanding of GST, TDS, PF as well as other labour compliance topics:

- Doing calculations for various government taxes such as TDS, GST, Service Tax and also filing of various returns.

- Review processes, be up to speed with changes

Quality control and improvements:

- Review accounting entries

- Review of compliance of various types of invoices and follow up with partners to make corrections wherever necessary.

- Quality control of correct entries of operating costs, partner payments, guest payments

Documentation:

- Ensure collection and correct filling of documents

Follow ups:

- Ensure incoming refunds are processed correctly

- Ensuring we receive missing invoices. Follow up with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all invoices are collected and processed correctly

- Reconciliations of Sundry Debtors and Sundry Creditors.

- Bank Reconciliations

- Cash flow management and cash budgeting

What do we expect from you-

- You have at least 5 years accounting experience, ideally in an Indian accounting firm

- You have deep understanding of Indian accounting system as well as GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other Indian labour laws

- High level of precision and accuracy

- Excellent analytical skills and good mastery of excel / google spreadsheets

- Mental agility and ability to understand processes

- Ability to understand and control data

- Knowledge of Tally or any other accounting software.

- MIS reports handling

- Hands on knowledge of various government rules and regulations as per Companies ACT
