Job Description :

1. Establish and responsible for month-end inventory close process and related financial reporting & analysis.

2. Develop policies and internal controls for all cost accounting and inventory activities.

3. Work closely and partner with supply chain team and inventory management team to set up processes and procedures in relation to inventory management.

4. Work closely with the service engineering team to understand the timing of installation and warranty work to ensure they are properly accounted for on our books.

5. Drive operational improvements and efficiencies on all aspects related to inventory costing and inventory management to improve business profitability.

6. Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded properly in the company s current financial data base and the Cost of Goods Sold are properly aligned with the Revenue.

7. Involved in transaction testing for ERP implementation.

8. Provide support and documentation as needed for internal and external audit requirements.

9. Provide financial analysis to support manufacturing and product development decisions.

10. Ensure process integrity within manufacturing team and inventory team while working with cross-functional peers to resolve process issues.

11. Work with inventory management team to develop, monitor, track and improve the cycle count process and inventory accuracy.

12. Oversee company's cycle count and year-end physical inventory programs.

13. Develop a process and methodology to analyze excess and obsolete inventory and adjust inventory reserves quarterly.

14. Partner with engineering team to ensure Bill of Material accuracy including knowledge of cost reduction impact on financials.

Desired Profile :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) with minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Accounting, including a minimum of 5 years in cost accounting. Preferably in a large manufacturing environment.

- Ability to understand the manufacturing environment and the associated financial processes; Knowledge of supply chain, receiving, inventory flow, operations process and manufacturing principles.
