Job Profile:

Responsible for maintaining Accurate and timely Books of Accounts, ensure statutory compliance, and Providing MIS report to the management, shall ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. This person will manage the accounts payable function, payroll function, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.

Key Tasks & Activities :

- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation

- Development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures

- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

- Implementation of ERP software (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is added advantage)

- Internal control compliances

- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance

- Interacts at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce a timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through the annual report

- Align Chart of accounts with Business Plan

- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses

- Work with statutory Auditor, Tax Auditor and complete Statutory and Tax audit and tax filing

- Prepare summary of financial statements variances to budget

- Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes

Tax compliance: 

- GST Monthly, Annual returns, Recon between GST Returns with GL, ensure timely input credits, Tax planning as permitted under the law

- TDS Deduction and Quarterly returns

- PT filing

- Transfer pricing is added advantage.

- Corporate tax filing assistance

- Payroll review: work with HR team and review monthly payroll review and assist in proper tax computation for employees.

- Inventory related controls

- Fixed Assets Register and Accounting.

- Follow up finance-related SOPs(Standard Operating Process)

Education, Experience and skills & Proficiencies: -

- Candidate must be Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of experience or CA Inter with 10+ years relevant experience from a Manufacturing background.
