- The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire gamut of sales of assigned Govt accounts in that specified region
- Understands buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector
- Proven track record of consistent high performance and new business acquisition
- Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise future sales strategies for the same.
- Strong account management and business acumen
- Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition in government segment.
- Competition Analysis by keeping abreast of Market Trends & achieving market share metrics.
- Deep knowledge in the process of tendering process in PSU & Govt including source of tenders, tenders publication, - tendering proposals and benchmarking
- Tendering specifications v/s product bids
- Well versed of e-tendering process, govt rules and regulations, govt statutes, EMD, bank guarantees etc
- Aware of digital tendering and implementing technology in tendering
- Pricing and discount negotiations
- Interaction with customers and participating in bidding process
- Arranging institutional customer visits to Factory and R&D
Desired candidate profile:
- B E + MBA from a Tier 1 premier institute with strong Technical sales experience with exposure to tendering, bidding and documentation
- Eye for detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Energy driven
